We have several exciting opportunities for staff nurses to join our team in opening a brand-new hospital in London, Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, opening in the autumn of 2021. We are looking for an array of staff nurses with different skill sets from outpatients, oncology and endoscopy to the inpatient surgical ward and cardiology/ cardiac surgery ward who will assess, co-ordinate and deliver high quality patient care.
In autumn 2021, we’ll open the doors to Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew’s Hospital: The City of London’s only independent hospital, situated next to St Bartholomew’s NHS hospital. This will be our flagship centre for cardiac services and will also provide a full range of surgical and medical services, including: orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, gynaecology and urology services.
The new hospital will consist of:
- 48 inpatient and day case bedrooms
- 28 consultation rooms
- Three digital operating theatres
- Cardiac catheterisation lab
- 7 Specialist intensive care beds
- Oncology day unit
- Endoscopy and minor ops theatre
- Full diagnostic imaging suite including MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography and general X-ray
You will be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, and you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and be able to assess, prioritise and co-ordinate patient care from admission to discharge. Salary is £28,500 - £37,000 depending on experience. Additional shift enhancements and overtime uplifts for nights and weekends above 15% of the equivalent hourly rate. Bank holidays uplifts will be double time.
