St Bartholomew’s Hospital is a leading specialist centre in Cardiothoracic and Cancer care, offering practitioners the unique opportunity to work across the clinical specialties and to advance their professional development.

Based in the City of London, The new Barts Heart Centre has brought together the services of some of the best Cardiovascular and Thoracic experts in the country who work together to create a single specialist centre for Cardiovascular and Thoracic disease.

We have 10 state of the art adult theatres covering a range of both elective and emergency work. Providing support across the cardiac surgical programme with cardiac, thoracic, Thoracic-Robotic, thoraco-abdominal aneurysm surgery, GUCH and cath Lab electrophysiology cases.

The St. Bartholomew’s Cancer Centre encompasses Medical Oncology, Clinical Oncology and Radiotherapy, Haemato-Oncology, Palliative Care, Breast Surgery and Endocrinology. We are at the forefront of cancer research, as one of the largest centres for recruitment into breast clinical trials in the UK. We are continually pushing the boundaries to develop new and successful treatments
